Macros

The following macros can be used in text overlays and alert contents to include dynamic data:

General data

  • [now] - Current date and time, excluding milliseconds.
  • [date] - Current date.
  • [time] - Current time, excluding milliseconds.
  • [milliseconds] - Milliseconds value of the current image.
  • [timestamp] - Timestamp in the format YYMMDDHHMMSS.
  • [name] - The name of the feed.
  • [fps] - The number of frames per second being processed.
  • [recordingfps] - The number of frames per second being recorded to disk.
  • [analyticfps] - The number of frames per second being received and processed for motion detection.
  • [ptzpreset] - The current PTZ preset location, blank if it's been moved elsewhere.
  • [lastmotion] - Time of the last motion.
  • [lasttrigger] - Time of the last alert trigger.

ICE Motion Detection

  • [clumpcount] - Number of clumps (moving objects) in image.
  • [visitorcount] - Number of visitors seen so far.

Counting

  • [counter ID TYPE] - Tripwire counter value

The counter type accepts the following values;

  • 1 = Objects moving from left/bottom to right/top
  • 2 = Objects moving from right/top to left/bottom
  • 3 = Total objects crossing from either direction

If you omit the the type the default is type 3

I/O devices

  • [devicename] - The current value or state of the devicename I/O device.
  • [iodevicepowerusage] - The total power usage of all monitored I/O devices.
