Alerts

The Alerting options allow you to automatically configure i-Catcher to post motion images directly to a web site (sample templates are included), or to email images to any email addresses. An additional facility allows you to run an external application such as an SMS program, allowing messages to be sent directly to your mobile phone.

After you select Alerts from the main window, a second window is displayed where you can select the type of alert to configure;

Email Settings

Configure how i-Catcher sends emails to notify you of activity.

FTP Settings

Configure how i-Catcher uploads images and pages to an FTP server.

Audio Settings

This option will play an audio (Wave files only) file whenever motion occurs.

External Application Settings

This will execute an external program (e.g. an SMS sending program) when a certain amount of motions have occurred.

All alerts have a Trigger on X events in Y settings, which allows you to set the number of successive movements, in a given time interval, required to trigger the alert.
