i-catcher pocketmonitor installation i-Catcher PocketMonitor is designed for use on mobile devices, such as the HP iPaq range. Therefore the installation is slightly different to that of the other i-Catcher products. i-Catcher PocketMonitor is provided as a self-installing CAB file. If when you go to download this file on your desktop PC you find that Windows opens the file as an archive automatically, then you will need to right-click on the download link and choose "Save Targe As..." or "Save Link as...". The CAB file will then need to be copied onto your device. This can be achieved in a number of ways, but the easiest is probably via Microsoft ActiveSync. Please see the ActiveSync documentation for more information on copying the CAB file to your device using this method. Other methods include transferring the file by email (requires an email client to be installed on your device. iPaq's for example are shipped with Pocket Outlook installed), downloading from a company or personal website (if you have one) using Pocket Internet Explorer, or by downloading the CAB file directr to your device from our website. Once the file is on your device's filesystem, you simply need to run it and it will auto-install i-Catcher PocketMonitor for you. You can then run the application from your device's start menu. Minimum requirements i-Catcher PocketMonitor requires a mobile device running Microsoft PocketPC 2003 or newer, or Windows Mobile. A mobile device based on an ARM or PXA processor. A networking connection is required to receive images from an i-Catcher system, such as a wireless network interface, wired network card, or bluetooth/irda linked dialup connection. Please contact us at icatchersupport@icode.co.uk if you are still having difficulties installing i-Catcher PocketMonitor. |
