multiple copies of i-Catcher Sentry or Wildlife
Multiple
copies of the client application on one computer are possible by using
different profiles, all that is required is a different working directory
for each profile. The use of profiles also allows different personalities on
cameras, scheduled at different times of the day. This profile approach
means that the settings on i-Catcher are infinitely variable, just by
switching between profiles.
i-Catcher stores the video feed device in the profile so it will start up
using that next time. Some devices (USB web cameras) only use one device for
all of the cameras. Depending on the driver, it will either display a box
asking you to select an alternative device or automatically select the next
free one.
It is possible to start i-Catcher from the command line, and pass the
profile name. This allows you to create shortcuts to each profile/camera
configuration.
