Configuring Sensors

The sensors functionality allows you to send a command to a serial device and read the returned data. This is stored in a macro which you can then use in the Overlays section to display on an image.

  • Name is the name given to a sensor, and also the name of the macro that is created for use in the Overlays section
  • COM Port is the COM port to which the sensor is attached
  • Command is the command to send to the device
  • Terminator is the terminator used when communicating with the sensor
  • Format is a Visual Basic style format string, allowing to the format the data returned by the sensor.
