Connecting a batch mode camera

If you are adding a Batch mode camera, then the next screen will enable you to select the folder that contains the uploaded images from the camera, and also the pattern of the file names used. The pattern defines the structure of the filename including time and date stamping, which enables i-Catcher Console to determine where each image fits chronologically in the list of images being examined.

To help you enter a pattern, there is a list of predefined patterns for some of the more common camera types that are capable of using FTP uploading to transmit images. With each camera type is a base file name option that allows easy creation of the filename pattern.

You can find more information about setting the file pattern in the Batch feed settings help.
