Scheduling Tutorial

Overview

The scheduling facility allows you to determine when i-Catcher runs, without you being there to press the start button. This option is very useful when you have a building or area to protect outside working hours. i.e. storeroom or warehouse. The options in the scheduling menu are quite straight forward with the ability to schedule on different days of the week. When the schedule has finished you have the option to load a different profile, with scheduling information stored in profiles this means you have complete flexibility.

Settings

Scheduling allows i-Catcher to only run at certain times, or days (e.g. Only run between 6PM, and 8AM on weekdays).

• Enable Scheduling - If this option is switched off, i-Catcher will run continuously, otherwise it will run as per the following options.
• Days - You can tell i-Catcher to run only on particular days, or everyday.
• Run Between ... and ... - These two, tell i-Catcher when to start and stop running. i-Catcher can run from evening through midnight until the morning, or during the day.

When Scheduled run has finished

• Do Nothing - This will just stop i-Catcher ready for the next run.
• Exit i-Catcher - This will save settings, and shutdown i-Catcher.
• Load Profile - This will save all the current settings, and load a different profile. This allows you to set up a system monitoring one camera during the day, and monitor another one (e.g. with night vision) during the night.
