| The playback features of i-Catcher are available from
the main menu bar by clicking "Playback" button
(see opposite). This action brings up the playback window, which can
be extended to show playback controls and the film strip.
The Playback Window has various control buttons displayed at
the top of the window, these are explained below.
Playback Controls
The controls for the playback window allow you to quickly and
easily navigate to any point of interest in the recorded images. A
day's worth of time is shown as a single bar with red marks
indicating points when motion occurred. Note that since a single
mark represents a time period itself, different height marks
indicate how much motion is within the time period covered by a
single mark. The higher the bar, the motion was detected in that
time. This bar is referred to as the timeline.
At either side of the timeline are controls to advance or reverse
a single frame at a time. Beneath the timeline is a slider that
allows you to jump instantly within a 24hr period. For extra
precision, you can enter a specific time in the text boxes provided
and click on "Go To".
A dropdown calendar allows you to select the date you'd like to
look at. When the data is changed, the window automatically reloads
the list of images. You can force this to happen by clicking on the
Refresh button.
The speed control allows adjustment of the playback speed, moving
the slider to the right causes playback speed to be
increased.
