Connecting Alert Manager to iCatcher Console

Connecting Alert Manager to iCatcher Console is very simple. Click on the "Settings" button in the main window of i-Catcher Alert. This will bring up a dialog box that allows you to change all the settings associated with i-Catcher Alert. Ensure the "Console" tab is selected by clicking on it. On the Console tab is a field indicating a trigger directory path. This should be set to the directory that iCatcher Console's capture history is stored in. 

If the history directory is on a different computer to that which i-Catcher Alert is running on, you will need to share the history directory of your iCatcher Console installation. A brief explanation of how to do this is on the Sharing i-Catcher Directories page.

When the history directory has been set, click on "OK" to confirm the settings.

Once you have connected Alert Manager to iCatcher Console in this manner, the simplest way to use i-Catcher Alert is to just click on the "Start" button in the main window.
