This "True" Day/Night camera features a mechanically removed IR cut filter. Unlike conventional Day/Night cameras which are infra-red sensitive at all times, with automatically IR illumination, this camera features an IR filter, giving a true colour image during the day. In low light conditions, the filter is physically removed to allow the camera to operate on infra-red illumination.
