This device attachs inline to cameras connected by twisted pair via RJ-45 connector to provide protection from power surges and lightning strikes.
One RJ-45 connector carries two channels, requiring the splitting/combining transceiver to join two cameras onto one connector.
The device is fitted with RJ45 sockets at both ends. An earth strap provides discharge to earth of surge current.
Note: This device is suitable for Video RJ45 connections only and is not suitable for other signal types, e.g. networking cables.
