The Axis Rackmount POE midspan is a rackmount PoE "MidSpan" unit, that sits inline between your network cameras and non-PoE capable switches. The midspan adds the standard PoE compliant supply to the network cables, allowing your camera to be powered via its LAN connection.
This unit is available in 6-port and 12-port configurations, and provides one pair of RJ45 sockets for each port, i.e. one unpowered connection in and a powered connection out.
Note: A PoE capable network cameras are required for use with this device.
