The Axis 209FD is a flat, compact network camera with a dome-style camera mounting. Intended for mount in public transportaiton vehicles such as buses and trains, the 209FD incorporates technology to handle the changing vibration and light conditions found on such vehicles.
The camera casing is designed to adjust for adaptation to virtually any surface adding to the flexibility of this low-cost camera. The Axis 209FD-R is supplied in a ruggedised casing to improve resistance to vandalism and tampering.
This camera is PoE only (i.e. there is no power input connection). To facilitate this, a single-port Power over Ethernet midspan is included.
