This active transmitter, when used in conjunction with a matching receiver, allows transmission of video over a single Category 5 UTP cable to a maximum distance of 2400m for mono cameras, 1500m for colour cameras.
A matching transmitter and receiver are required, and both units require power supplies (included). Connection for Cat 5 cable is via push-lock terminals. Each unit requires one twisted pair, allowing the carriage of up to 4 video signals over one Cat 5 cable.
Note: These units are suitable only for video data only, and are not suitable for the carriage of other signal types such as network data.
