our office console installation
 i-Catcher Console - PC CCTV - Car Park Camera Details
The
i-Catcher Car Park Cameras are located in our upstairs workshop. Currently
two of these cameras look out through the window, and one is mounted
externally, with an accompanying infra-red illuminator.
The output of these cameras are fed directly into a PC in our
Workshop, using a Junior 4 capture card. This PC also handles the courtyard gate
camera as the fourth input.
Each of the video feeds is operated by an i-Catcher Sentry Client sending
its images to our i-Catcher Console.
The car park cameras are quite difficult to set up due to the number of
areas requiring masking (the hedges and trees), but the system will still
automatically track a person in the entire image coverage.
As we receive a lot of deliveries during the day we set the image to
enlarged on the console PC, this allows it to be viewed from any desk area in
the office.
The cameras are set to auto zoom and track motion so that it is quite
obvious when motion is detected in the car park area. The camera regularly
picks up golfers taking a shortcut though our car park and sneaking on for a
free game.
